Confused crafter

Confused you say why: I love sitting and crafting to be honest can't sit still without knitting, crocheting or thinking and planning next project. Then I look around and no surprise I have a pile of finished or halve finished ptojects.

This is when my confused brain comes into gear, how to display and hopefully sell the items I dont require. So out comes google to see where on-line the best place to sell

  • Well known platforms Etsy, Folksy even Ebay

  • Craft fairs

  • Boot fairs

I am sure I must be doing something wrong as I have tried all the above but over 10yrs have only sold 30 ish items. Still salesI hear you say but when looking at the above platforms at other shops most have sold over 200 in a year. Looking at their's, mine are no different so none the wiser why I can't sell mine not the cost as mine are priced the same.

So as none of these are working for me I have taken the decision to go alone and created my own online shop www.hodge-podge-crafts.co.uk. I'm even giving social platforms a go wish me luck.

Now to sit down and go through all my finished projects

Worst to great blogger

3 blogs in 3 months is not the worst, but not the best for a blogger. Are you a crafter like me; love to create and always thinking one project ahead of my current one? Do you look at what is out ther

Can't stop crafting

I sit everyday with my mind working overtime; which craft shall I start today, should I go back to my half finished projects or maybe just maybe upload and try to sell my ever growing finished project
