Can't stop making bags
Picasso had his pink period I think I am having my bag period. I just cant stop making them
Sewn ones
Crocheted ones
Knitted ones
Macrame ones
Every bag I create is an adventure in itself! I'll admit, my sewing skills aren't perfect, but I fully embrace the challenge. The saying "measure twice, cut once" is something I should keep in mind, as I'm often eager to start sewing without double-checking my measurements. I'm sure I'm not the only one who finds themselves trimming or re-cutting fabric as if it's a new pastime!
The great thing about knitting or crocheting a bag is that tension isn't an issue—who even bothers with a tension square anyway?
Okay, here's a bit of a gripe—not a full-blown complaint, but it does bug me when people try to haggle down the price on something I've crafted. I really think my projects are reasonably priced. Do they even get how much effort goes into making them? Some bags have over five pieces, including the outer fabric, lining, and interfacing, all of which need to be cut out. Once that's done, sewing everything together takes some time. I'm not really complaining—well, maybe just a bit. But you have to admit, the end results are totally worth it.
